Vineyard: hilly; tuffaceous, clayey and calcareous soils; south-westerly exposure.

Types of grapes: Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Oseleta and Croatina

Drying: Dried for approx. 120-150 days.

Ageing:
– 24 months in small oak barrels

– 8 months in bottle



Colour: 
ruby red with purple highlights.

Bouquet: raspberry jam.

Flavor: full, warm and velvety.

Alcohol content: 14 % Vol.


Serving suggestions: Very mature and sharp cheeses served with honey and “mostarda” (Italian chutney); dry confectionery, chocolate biscuits. A “conversation wine”.

Serving temperature: 16° 18° C
